A series of potentially dangerous deep seated failures on a railway embankment required treatment to prevent further slips. The geotechnical issues of ground stability were resolved using soil nailing. The surface erosion was solved by using North American Green (NAG) C350.

NAG C350 is composite Turf Reinforcement Mat (TRM) and was installed over prepared seeded topsoil. The whole surface was then covered with rock netting. The NAG C350 is a permanent solution that will offer long term erosion control and vegetative reinforcement.
